 On XO-1.5 B2 with os109, executed the command 'gst-launch-0.10 v4l2src !
 ffmpegcolorspace ! pngenc ! filesink location=/home/olpc/test.png'.  Got a
 rose-colored .png (i.e., a "blank screen") with tiny white specles kere
 and there.  [IIRC, with os104 the image was similar, but then the white
 specles were larger.]
