 On the assumption that this may be corruption of kernel structures ... can
 we assess what parts of the kernel are being exercised by these tests,
 that are not being exercised as rapidly by tests that are not showing the
 same symptom?

 The ticket description identifies suspend and resume, and SD card I/O.
 Unfortunately that is a particularly wide scope, since many parts of the
 kernel are involved in suspend and resume.

 Stating the obvious.
