 In addition to not working, the left gamepad keys are remapped as if the
 rotation was successful.  This causes the gamepad keys to confuse the
 user.

 This is trivially fixed by reordering the call to xmodmap and xrandr, so
 that the call to xmodmap is not done unless the call to xrandr is
 successful.
