Comment:

The workaround is to remove the file .sugar/default/nm/connections.cfg and
 restart Sugar.

 Reproduced on os108 just now.

The SSID is stored in .sugar/default/nm/connections.cfg ... and ''Discard
network history'' is coded to do nothing. "''pass''"

Comparing with XO-1 build 802, ''Discard network history'' aka
clear_networks() calls delete_all_networks() method of nminfo.

Looking at the maintenance of connections.cfg by the code in Sugar 0.84,
the file is created and modified by each new connection to an access
point, with a section per access point, and the file is never reduced or
 deleted.

Sugar incorrectly assumes that an access point that has been connected to
previously will continue to provide the same type of service with respect
 to encryption.

Moving this ticket to the XO-1.5 milestone and selecting component Sugar.
