 My earlier report ( 4 weeks ago )  was perhaps in haste, but were true
 observations at the time, and was submitted also to see if related to a
 small bunch of XO 1-5 that were apparently having similar errors and were
 being shipped  ( from Miami?) to Ed around 4 weeks ago, at the time of my
 opening this Trac ticket.

 If no longer useful, for sure close out or stall this ticket as
 appropriate.

 As I am now using os108 and not having significant problems with the above
 symptoms, fine.

 In the future, I'll comment on net access using Sugar or Gnome separately.
