Comment:

 Current state of affairs:

  * /etc/event.d/prefdm sets a respawn limit of 3 events in 120 seconds,
  * this is present on os108 on XO-1.5,
  * this is present on build 802 on XO-1,
  * it works; restarting Sugar with ctrl-alt-erase three times within two
 minutes stops it from coming back until a reboot,
  * workaround for testing is to increase the limit and reboot.
