 On machines I replaced the SPI flash with a test on there was no mfg data.
 The following occurred on serial:
 +
 Forthmacs
 Type 'i' to interrupt stand-init sequence
 Missing TS tag

 At this point the laptop is hung.

 By using i to interact I was able to set the TS tag to a value and
 continue on but I think the right response to the error is to drop to an
 ok prompt rather than just hang.
