 Update'', with battery absent.

 Symptom: Read does not start.  Logs show readtopbar.py does not define
 global name "logging".

 Workaround: insert battery, or add "import logging" to readtopbar.py.

 Logs attached.

 Retested.  The symptom only occurs if the battery is removed prior to
 starting Read.  Changed ticket description and summary.
