 when running the external SD tests from smt.fth (TS == SMT), the following
 error is frequently (but not always) observed:

 Testing /pci/sd at c/disk at 3
 Okay
 Testing /pci/sd at c/disk at 1
 Please insert card in external SD slot to continue test.
 Card insertion correctly detected.
 SDHCI: Error: ISR = 8000 ESR = 60 Data End Bit, Data CRC,
 Stopping
 }}}

 at least once the message has also included:
 {{{
 SDHCI: Error: ISR = 8000 ESR = 3 Command CRC, Command Timeout,
 Stopping
 Selftest failed due to abort
 }}}

 the frequency of occurrence varies by laptop on the two tested so far --
 the D5 SKU does it almost all the time, the D4 rarely.
