 Chris: no, getting the build name wrong generates a different error.
 Using an invalid build name of 10.2_XO1.5-103 or 10.2_xo1.5-109 results in
 an error:

   rsync://updates.laptop.org/build-10.2_XO1.5-103/contents
 I don't think the requested build number exists.
 }}}

 I don't know yet what command Sandy used to get that error "bad build
 identifier".  But I agree it seems unrelated to the ticket description at
 the moment.
