Comment(by wad):

 I'm not sure this is being attacked in the right way.   If you gain space
 by removing activities, the deployment will simply add the activities
 back, leaving the kids with no space.

 If instead you delete Gnome applications, you are actually freeing up
 space for deployments to add content and local activities.
