Comment:

 If it would be a low-level interrupt which would then wake up the driver,
 it should be OK. I guess the point that I was trying to get across is that
 when the host driver is woken up, it should be ready to submit the
 appropriate URBs to the USB HC and not initialize from the point of
 firmware download.
