 Tested a fix similar to #9949 workaround, to remove the display sink part
 of the stream in glive.py:startRecordingVideo() and add sync=true to the
 filesink, and the result was improved, but not enough.  The video
 recording was still truncated.

 However, because of #9407 and #9325 one has to transfer the file by USB
 stick or network to an XO-1 or desktop in order to play it.  The XO-1.5
 doesn't keep up with ogg decoding and ximagesink at the same time.
