Comment:

 We're using it wrong.  The correct format is now:

 $ sugar-launch vu.lux.olpc.Maze
 }}}

 In place of the name of the activity we must use the bundle id, which can
 be found in the activity.info file for the activity.

 This change was committed on 2008-10-07 by Marco, see
 b36db6599ed59412ce77c8ed4fb1dea782877a62.

 This seems to be working as designed, although it is different.
