 The Sugar datastore service may have described details of its demise in
 /home/olpc/.sugar/default/logs ... so please capture a corresponding set
 of logs so that we can have a look at it.

 The kernel error warning of the death of the datastore service is also
 consistent with defective physical memory on the laptop.  Please test for
 this by running memtest from the firmware prompt for a few hours.  You
 will be able to obtain the firmware prompt (ok) by pressing escape (X)
 during power up.  This is only a possibility.

 My gut feel is that the datastore service is failing to process the
 unusual contents of the filesystem you are presenting to it.

 You may be able to prevent this by either (a) removing all the content,
 (b) removing parts of the content, or (c) mounting the filesystem in a way
 that prevents the datastore service from accessing it.  I think Mikus uses
 a different method to mount than just allowing it to happen.
