 From the initial description of this bug:

 "The Browse Activity uses a huge font/image scaling factor for seemingly
 everything when started with the screen rotated sideways {so the window
 height is much larger than its width}. This does not happen if you start
 Browse in the normal screen orientation, and then rotate the screen."

 Is this still the use case we are trying to fix here? If this is issue can
 only be seen if you start Browse when the screen is rotated, I am not
 confident about the importance of the use case.
