Comment(by jnettlet):

 I have successfully gotten xrandr --output default --rotate left to work
 on my xo1 after a couple of steps. This syntax requires the xorg-x11-drv-
 geode-2.11.9-1.fc11.i586.rpm package that will be included in the next
 build. On top of that I also needed to edit the newest included xorg-
 xo1-dcon.conf and change the line Virtual 1200 900 to Virtual 1200 1200.
 This allocates a large enough Virtual Screen so the default crtc can be
 rotated.

 The only question is what do we want to do about output naming? Currently
 the xo1 uses "default" as the output and the xo1.5 uses "LCD". Can this
 be handled in olpc-rotate?
