 Steps to reproduce:

 - disable networking in GNOME

 - switch to Sugar

 - go to neighborhood view ---> Sugar Ad-hoc icons are still there

 - restart machine or Sugar ---> Icons are gone

 When disabling the networking in Sugar the icons are gone. So this is an
 edge case. I think too minor to touch that part of the code anymore. Still
 opened as 10.1.3 ticket to hear other comments.
