Comment:

 I do not think this is fixed in Paint-30/10.1.3 os358.

  1. Select a color from the Text area's color chooser other than black.
  2. Select the text tool, click once in the drawing area and type some
 text.
  3. Without clicking again to stop the text area explicitly, click on the
 Tools menu area and click the Brush tool.
  4. The text typed will become black and not the color selected in step 1.
