 The very first time I installed ImageThumbnail-7.xo (that was on os355),
 it ran for me.

 In respomse to your question, I was able to reproduce the error on 355 and
 10.1.2 -- so I was wrong in calling this symptom a "regression".  [In
 fact, I've never again been able to get Thumbnail-7 to work on any XO-1
 build.]

 Have now opened a ticket on https://dev.laptop.org.au/projects/image-
 thumbnail/issues, as this problem appears to be due to activity version
 ImageThumbnail-7.xo.  [For me, ImageThumbnail-6.xo *did* complete
 launching.]
