 The Read activity should hide the cursor if an XO is put into the ebook
 position.  It should, however (at least in my view) let the cursor
 reappear if mouse activity is caused by an external device (such as a USB-
 attached mouse).

 This is similar to #10396.

 Originally tested on 10.1.3 os355.
