 I can't seem to duplicate this problem with Q3A50b; the following command
 works:

 }}}

 However, I did notice that $copy-all leaves junk on the stack - one number
 for each file copied.  The bug is a use of "pack" that should have been
 "place".  It is fixed in svn 1942 with a test version at
 http://dev.laptop.org/~wmb/q3a50f.rom .

 James, can you try to duplicate the original problem again with q3a50f.rom
 ?
