 /root is a symlink to /home/root (and has been in all builds made by olpc-
 os-builder), so that part of the work was effectively done ages ago.

 The remaining part of the ticket was to ensure the symlink gets created on
 upgrades, which was brought to our attention in #10278.

 So your test case is: install 8.2.1, perform olpc-update to 10.1.2 os851,
 and ensure /root exists as a symlink to /home/root.
