 Mixing XO-1 kernel with XO-1.5 hardware obviously isn't going to work, but
 I did it anyway for amusement.  The result was that the XO-1.5 would no
 longer boot.  Last output was loading ramdisk.

 The ''O'' game key workaround did not work properly.  The ramdisk could
 not be loaded by OpenFirmware, though the kernel was.  It gave me a kernel
 panic, ''Unable to mount root fs'', though at least via a readable frame
 buffer.

 More problem data can be captured.  I ran out of time today.
