XO-1 os850 freshly installed, followed by install of IRC activity and
connection to freenode. The XO was left to idle. Another XO was in the
same activity, and a ''Ping timeout'' message was visible for the nickname
 corresponding to the first XO.

The first XO was woken using keyboard or touchpad. The first XO no longer
had wireless LEDs glowing. The frame and neighbourhood views still showed
an active connection. Ping failed to resolve hostname.

Environment included a NetComm router previously not tested by me.

Workaround: click on the icon for the access point in the neighbourhood
 view.

Logs were collected and can be supplied; /var/log, .sugar ... when Quozl
returns from visiting these kids ...
