 Good, then it's already fixed upstream and the fix will be included when
 we adopt 0.88.  No plans to do this at this stage though.

 I went looking through the changes from 0.84 to 0.88.1 but none of them
 stood out as causing this change in behaviour.  Perhaps it was a side-
 effect of a series of changes.
