was using C2 unit, running q3a37. unit ran down enough
that it shut down automatically.
applied power, led went into 4-flash mode, indicating trickle charging.
was debugging powerd at the time, and noticed the
AC online status was changing a lot. looked at dmesg:

noticed that the LED didn't _always_ do 4 flashes. sometimes just 1 or 2,
then steady for a while.
charge level indicated 25%, rose to 26% and later 27% while i was
watching. kernel property "charge_type" indicated "Fast", not "Trickle",
as i would have expected.
alas, no EC serial.
power supply is an older green one.
ah ha! it's the charger. this is a charger i brought from home, because
i'd observed some odd behavior with it earlier. powering from a different
(green) charger doesn't show the problem. switching back starts it
happening again, reliably.
