 patch reworked, and committed as dece49c8069275303dede47025e9a00a3a594c7a
 .

 also required fix for rtc cmos suspend/resume, which was broken sometime
 during the platform_device churn over the last year.
 b5a8463fefae77d7bd52db74297cadf025f7dfb5

 these fixes should appear in any future kernel builds for XO-1.
