In your first paragraph ... did you disconnect from A9 or hit cancel on
the passphrase prompt? I suspect you hit cancel and then clicked on A7.
The reason I ask is that in the absence of a specific request to
disconnect, Sugar retains the autoconnect setting for A9 and tells this to
Network Manager, and so the XO will slavishly repeat your mistake, because
you haven't told it otherwise. If you read connections.cfg file you
should find an autoconnect entry for A9, and for A7.
Every time you visit the same location, Sugar will tell Network Manager
that both A9 and A7 should be tried for autoconnect, and Network Manager
will try the first one you asked for; A9.
Perhaps Sugar should perform a disconnect if you hit cancel on the
passphrase prompt. I was thinking of adding that this morning, and your
ticket has reminded me.
