 In 0.82 the Reg menu item disappears right after a successful
 registration. In 0.84 (as seen in recent OLPC builds) the menu item stays
 until reboot.

 This is confusing for deployment teams: "has this laptop registered?"
 cannot be confirmed with a quick look at the menu.
