 If you run into this problem can you then try to click the other buttons
 on the interface and see if they work.  I have seen this behavior also,
 and believes it ties in to the hiccup when using TimTamEdit.  My reaction
 to what I have seen so far is this actually has something to do with alsa/
 or the sound and video hardware fighting over pci bus bandwidth.
