 I'm surprised gstreamer doesn't throw similar fits on the XO-1; there's no
 VIDIOC_ENUM_FRAMERATES there either.

 I've not tried combined audio/video.  It sounds like there could be some
 interference between the two devices somehow.  I'll have to pull out my
 diagrams to see if/how the two devices might interact with each other.
 There *shouldn't* be any sort of conflict, but clearly something's going
 on...
