Comment:

 My Delta Electronics ADP-17FB A adapter, rated 12V at 1.42A is also unable
 to charge an XO-1.5.

 I have measured the current drawn by an XO-1.0 and an XO-1.5 B2. All tests
 were performed with the same partially charged battery at a little under
 12V (there is some drop in my wires). Each test lasted only a few seconds
 so battery SOC shouldn't change much.

  * A switched off XO-1.0 draws 1.2A
  * A switched off XO-1.5 draws 1.5A
  * A switched on XO-1.0 draws 1.5A during the initial boot up
  * A switched on XO-1.5 draws 2.2A during the initial boot up

 This may be related to
 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO_1.5_Tests#EC_Control_of_Charge_Current but I
 couldn't find any further information on the implications of failing that
 test, nor which revision of the XO-1.5 that failure relates to.
