Comment:

 The SD card self-test requires that an SD card be inserted in the SD slot.

 If none is inserted, it is expected to fail.

 I'm changing this to an "enhancement request" and reassigning to OFW
 instead of closing this ticket, as Mitch might agree that a more verbose
 error message is needed ?

 Perhaps the error message should be changed to:
 "Unable to find an SD/MMC card in the external slot"
 followed by the "Selftest failed..." message.
