Comment:

Problem did not reproduce after reinstalling os32 on both units.

An icon "None" on Neighborhood View now corresponds to my access point.
Running ''watch iwlist eth0 scan'' while power cycling the access point
shows the entry disappear, then reappear after reboot of the access point,
but with an ESSID of "". Scan results also occasionally show a correct
additional entry with ESSID of "quozl.linux.org.au" but with the same MAC
 address.

Removing power for 30 seconds, booting into OFW (Q30233) and running
''scan-wifi'' shows scan results containing several empty SSIDs.

This now appears to be a problem operating against a particular wireless
router, so I'll change the summary and investigate further. I no longer
have a problem creating a new wireless network using the Sugar frame icon.
