 The power is about a quarter of a watt ... but this was only one unit
 tested, and other units may have a different power.  Tests of other units
 would help to verify the saving.

 Might be solved by changes to the Sugar shell or the kernel such that when
 the volume is zero, the amplifier control is turned off.
