XO-1.5 B2. In 'Terminal', when an application is running which outputs
text lines to the screen, room to write the new line at the bottom is made
by shifting (scrolling) the existing lines up.

On os32 this shifting process occurs line-by-line, starting at the top of
the screen. Sometimes (perhaps when the system is heavily loaded) there
is a perceptible interval between the shifting of the one line, and the
shifting of the line below it. The result is an unsightly "wave" of
pixel-alterations rolling down the screen. [Observed while running a
 large yum upgrade.]
