Comment(by wad):

 I took SHC937011B4, with an OS31.zd installed using q3a11b and upgraded to
 q3a11d.

 It still booted fine.

 I then installed os31.zd using q3a11d, and the result refuses to boot with
 an inflate error.

 I should commment that SHC937011B4 does NOT have a Sandisk SD card, it has
 one of the A-data cards.  Most other machines on which this error has been
 seen were using Sandisk cards.
