Comment(by reuben):

 From a new machine out of the box. I updated to q3a11d.rom then os31.

 ok boot int:\olpc.fth

 produced the output:

 Loading ramdisk image from last:\initrd.img <buffer at ff9edc30>:5: Inflate
 size error

 Downgrade to q3a11c.rom and reflashed os31 the same error still persists.
