New description:

 Within the limitations of the 8.2.1 codebase (old kernel, X, etc) we
 should collect the safe/sane fixes for touchpads.

 For Synaptics, things are looking very green, specially WRT switching on
 Synaptics mode so that we can disable tap-to-click.

 So we take an easier road: split off the kmod so people can experiment...

  CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSE=y
  CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2=m
  CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_SYNAPTICS=y
  CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_OLPC=y
