 Sorry - you were right.  I've made a change -- but it was not a change _I_
 chose to make, but rather a change the _system_ forced me to make -- so I
 did not think of it as a "change".

 Now my SD card is being "fixed-mounted" rather than "automounted" - and
 that appears to make a difference as to whether its icon is being shown
 (see #9728).
