 Yes.  You seem to be asking whether this symptom could result from any
 change I made.  The question is not important enough for me to re-flash my
 XO-1.5 and look at whether a "virgin" os44 would still have the Object
 Chooser not showing icons for removable devices.  But since I apply the
 same changes to all the builds I install, and since I've seen other builds
 have Object Chooser show additional icons, I doubt very much that my
 changes have affected Object Chooser in os44.
