 I'd like to be able to use USB to test different timing effects on suspend
 and resume.  I'd like to see how differently things behave in the absence
 of internal SD write delays.

 (Yes, the .img.gz files can be used on SD cards.  I've only got a 1Gb
 exernal SD card at the moment, and the build does not fit on that without
 a fair bit of trimming).
