 9582
 Incorporating 9582, which seems similar, in this ticket.

 In 9582, wad said on 2009-10-30:

 On an XO-1.5 B2 prototype, serial number SHC937011AF, running q3a15
 firmware, I hit escape during the OFW startup sequence, and no boot sound
 was played.

 No audio could be generated by test /audio either, after the laptop
 entered this state.

 Rebooting cleared the problem.

 I was not able to duplicate the original timing of the escape key press
 and recreate the problem.
