 the DCON freeze/unfreeze doesn't work reliable on B2 boards.  even if the
 DCON ECO is in place, you need a custom kernel to use it (since the code
 checks the board rev).

 this doesn't mean we don't have problems.  (i haven't seen the specific
 symptoms you refer to, ever, so saying i haven't seen them on board with
 the ECO and a custom kernel wouldn't mean much.)

 these symtoms are something to look for on B3 boards.
