Comment:

 Thanks to the efforts of dsd on the sound driver, I have a version working
 on the 1.5 (at least the sound capture bits - haven't tested the sensors
 with anything yet). I'll try to make the code work both on the XO-1 and
 XO-1.5 and push a patch upstream.
