Comment:

 Quanta's run-in tests [http://http://www.ugghosting.com Ugg] already write
 large amounts of data to the filesystem. I've attached a patch which can
 be added to the kernel they use for these tests. It reads back from the
 NAND after each write from JFFS2's internal write-buffer, and will panic
 the machine with a suitable error message if corruption is found.
