 Quozl, why do you think ext4 is being used?  The messages file attached
 says:

 I think that, rather than ext4, we're hitting a problem with the default
 ext3/ext4 data= mode going to data=writeback instead of ordered or
 guarded.  I think we'll get an improvement by moving up to 2.6.31 and
 setting data=guarded on /.
