 A user gets their new laptop.  They boot it, type in their name, and hit
 cancel when asked if they want to update their activities.  They then
 either turn it off using the power button, pull out the battery, etc.
 When they turn it back on, they are prompted again for their name, but
 then the system enters an infinite series of X restarts.

 Powering off and then turning back on doesn't help.

 The olpc-dm is very unhappy about something.

 This problem existed in earlier builds, but was reproduced using os34 (and
 firmware q3a15).   The hardware was B2 prototype w. 4GB Adata SD card (D1
 flavor).
