 The reason I'm proposing $SUBJECT is that Mirage, by not being a part of
 the core GNOME stack, does not have as good translation coverage as EOG. A
 quick look at the source code only reveals 8 languages (European ones)
 into which Mirage is translated, compared to EOG, which should probably
 have something in the range of 40.

 The same logic goes for AiksaurusGtk, but I don't know of a replacement,
 and we also need to figure out how sensible it is to provide an English-
 only thesaurus in our scenario. So I think it should go into another
 ticket.
